It would be a shame not to engage your pets in the enjoyment as the big game approaches.YouTuber Rosanna Pansino, who has more than 14.2 million followers, has already made preparations to involve her dogs in the football celebrations. Blueberry Muffin and Coconut, two French Bulldogs, are her beloved pets.
Pansino frequently draws inspiration from her puppies and other people’s dogs. “About a year ago, I wanted to start a doggy play date at each other’s homes with a few of my pals. With just a few people and our dogs, it got incredibly small. Then it began to expand,” Pansino exclusively tells PEOPLE.
“And after that, I reasoned, ‘Well, we’re bringing food over for the people. Why don’t we prepare a small amount of food for the dogs? Then it just began becoming ludicrous and entertaining,” she continues, “so I started putting together a little charcuterie platter for the dogs. Pansino’s doggie play sessions now always include these “barkuterie” boards, but she wants to offer upscale treats to more dogs.
Before the big game, the author recently teamed up with Blue Buffalo to help spread the word about bingo boards. Since Pansino frequently incorporates the pet brand’s products into her dog-friendly snack creations, working with them was an easy “yes” for her.
“I enjoy the food because my dogs do, too. And I absolutely adore any high-quality sweets. They contain quality components. And I think they’re adorable. They come in some of the cutest small shapes and have a range of flavors, according to Pansino.
Blue Buffalo is aware of how eager dog owners are to include their pets in their celebrations. In a recent survey by the company, 97% of pet owners said that giving their dogs treats makes them and their pets happy. More than 72% of those surveyed stated they would be giving their pets extra treats during this year’s big game.
For these eager pet parents looking to add something special to their pup’s next big party, Pansino has tips on how to make a crowd-pleasing barkuterie board.
